For Dave and me, the aim was to find a balance in this mass and to develop a mouthpiece that produced a warm, rich sound with bags of color.

A mouthpiece that had both a 'fat' low register and a ringing high register that was vibrant and never edgy.

All Graham Ashton series mouthpieces are carefully designed for efficiency and ease of playing. An outstanding quality, is the evenness of sound throughout all registers which has been described by several players as “liquidy” and “smooth”.

The rims are designed for comfort and maximum flexibility. There is the slightest 'V' shape in the cup and so if you detect a little 'Vienna' in the core of the sound, you will not be mistaken!
